"We were all forced into this fairytale," I reply, smiling at our newest arrival, "the gallery is a fun way for the doctors to make more money off of us. We get to sleep on a real bed and eat real food, so long as we behave and swoon appropriately when directed."
I explain how the gallery has been so far. How we have performed, some of us causing scenes, my punishment for acting out the first day. I haven't yet bled through my newest ribbon, and I take this as a sign that the gash on my arm may finally be healing.

I giggle at w18Rs brass response, as dark as the truth behind it is. "With two Chasers dead I doubt they'd be so kind as to give you hydrotherapy, it would be a death warrant."
